Colorado Wedding | Taylor and Matt
In August I flew back to Colorado to photograph a much anticipated wedding. I have known Taylor since I was about five years old, we grew up for together in my moms in home daycare. Thanks to social media we were able to connect when we were older. A couple years ago I held a model call to do a couples shoot in the mountains, Taylor quickly volunteered her and her boyfriend for the job. The whole time at our shoot, all I could think was “damn, these two need to get married!” They just had that magic spark.
Fast forward a few months and Matt reached out to me, TO HAVE ME PHOTOGRAPH THE PROPOSAL! Yesssssss! We planned the whole thing and surprised Taylor at Echo Lake on a super cold day. It was beautiful. You can see those pictures HERE
on 8-18-18 at 18:18pm they were married in a super cute mountain town called Breckenridge. They had an intimate ceremony with only family members present.
During the ceremony, there were a few visitors. The first visitors were BEARS, yep bears. After the bears got bored and wandered off in came visitor number 2, an afternoon thunderstorm. The Colorado storm clouds started rolling in, and right before the pastor pronounced them man and wife, a HUGE clap of thunder happened. The pastor had to shout to announce them over the storm, and just as they kissed it started to rain. It was like a movie, it was so intense and beautiful!
Such a beautiful perfect day.
